Technology

Technology is the foundation of our company and our employees are trained in innovative systems that help deliver professional, efficient services to our customers.

Our custom proprietary inventory tracking system is cornerstone to our operations. When the systems available on the market were no longer able to meet our needs, we developed an in-house system that seamlessly integrates our processes across our consumers’ entire supply chains. We provide real-time tracking to our customers from our proprietary “Inventory-In-Motion” system, which allows our employees and customers to track the locations of shipments using an online portal.

We use PeopleNet (an industry-leading time tracking and management system), Transportation Management Software and geofencing technology to routinely collect data on location, speed, vehicle performance and driver safety. This information helps us manage our workforce and improve operation performance.

Technology plays a role in delivering our top-notch warehouse services. We utilize wire-guided forklifts, eco-friendly hydrogen fuel cells, integrated warehouse management software, best-in-class interface development standards and transaction sets, customizable performance reporting, and RF based process controls.

We direct constant attention towards operating a safe fleet and providing a safe workplace for our employees. Our management takes time to routinely review safety and compliance performance metrics. Since 2010, our company has maintained a satisfactory rating in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s Compliance, Safety and Accountability (CSA) program.

We have dedicated a team whose primary focus is toward the commitment to safety and compliance of regulations. This team promotes safety in the workplace, the motoring public and at our business partners’ locations. They develop pathways for success in safety, work toward systems integration and develops and implements safety-related training to all employees. In addition, our equipment and investments in advanced technologies help us achieve our remarkable safety and compliance records.

We proudly operate a fleet that is equipped with advanced technology and that’s equipment is only a few years old. Onboard computers with electronic driver logs (eLogs) became an integral part of our operation over five years ago. Our current telematics monitors our drivers’ hours of service, speed, following distance, and braking and acceleration rates. These features allow detailed analyses of our operations, which help to further improve safety records and recognize excellence in driver performance.

The training we implement to develop our workforce allows us to meet customer and business partner expectations and qualifies us to participate in government programs such as C-TPAT and SmartWay. See Certifications for more details.

At Benore Logistic Systems, Inc., we pride ourselves on our project management capabilities to ensure proper execution of planned solutions to deliver continuous improvement for our customers. Our in-house project management team provides direct communication between Benore personnel and our customers. Each project manager is certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI). Our Project Management Office (PMO) uses Microsoft Project, an industry standard, to professionally manage any size project. We work with our customers using industry standard and custom tools to establish requirements, timelines, KPIs and governance models to support successful implementation of our solutions within a customer’s supply chain.

As an active participant in the EPA’s SmartWay® program, we are able to measure our performance and optimize our loads. Fuller and more efficiently planned and routed loads permits better utilization of our equipment. Optimizing our utilization reduces unnecessary fuel burn and reduces air pollutant emissions. This program allows our company to measure our performance and efficiency against similarly situated logistic companies.

Our Fleet

We are an asset-based company that owns a fleet of custom forklifts, yard switchers, tractors and trailers. Our company continuously replaces and upgrades equipment to ensure that we possess advanced vehicle technology in safety, telematics, environmental sustainability and driver comfort.

Our late-model equipment includes features such as: GPS tracking, sensor-based safety technology, on-board computers with real-time truck-performance information, scanner equipment, eco-friendly engines with superior miles per gallon performance.

Maintenance is conducted by an in-house team that is trained to maximize vehicle performance and prioritize fleet safety.
